Reportedly, the schools in the state of Maharashtra will be opening from June 15. The respective management of the schools will be taking all precautionary measures in place to control the spread of the virus.
Maharashtra’s Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced that Maharashtra’s schools will reopen from June 15, 2022, with all the necessary precautions. The minister said that students of classes 1 and 2 have never been to school since the pandemic for the last two years and hence have faced great loss on the education front.
Reportedly, the state of Maharashtra has been facing a daily surge in the COVID-19 cases in recent weeks. Monday was the fifth consecutive day when the state of Maharashtra witnessed and added more than 1,000 infections to its COVID tally.
